Aragorn glanced at Sairalinde who nodded her head very slightly before turning back to Malaak and Faythe, "yes, we are. we'd be glad to have you, we could use some strong fighters. your names?"

"I am called Malaak, and this is Faythe," Malaak said, pointing to herself and then Faythe. "Yours?"

Aragorn raised a hand in formal greeting, "i am Aragorn son of Arathorn, i travel with Sairalinde daughter of Finrod, Peregrin son of Paladin, and Gandalf the Grey." Sairalinde greeted the new part of the company with a smile, "we'll be setting off in the morning, Admien should be well enough to travel by then, if he's coming." Pippin crept out of Gandalf's cloak, in a much cheerier mood since this elves didn't seem hostile.

Gandalf nodded at the newcomers and smiled. "But Aragorn, you are forgetting the feast! We are all invited to it, and I'm sure the Lady Galadriel would not mind if Malaak and Faythe here joined us. Then Admien will be fit enough to travel and I'm sure Malaak and Faythe would be glad of food and shelter." Gandalf then turned to Admien and crouched down, examining him and began to chant spells to heal under his breath.

Aragorn looked skeptical, their mission to find Merry strong on his mind. he glanced at Sairalinde, but she gave him no clue about what she thought about the decision. he thought about it for a minute, weighing the two choices in his mind. they needed some good fighters if they intended to survive the inevitable coming fight, but time was pressing. they also needed food and rest, though the orcs would spare none. good horses would make the travel easier, and the elves weren't in a lacking supply of those. so the scales tipped in favor of staying for one night, "alright, we'll stay. but tonight only." Sairalinde nodded her head ever so slightly, approving of Aragorn's decision. A broad grin spread across Pippin's face, the opprotunity of food and some good rest shoved away all worry for his close friend for the time being; a hobbit's mind being that simple, asking for three things: good food and drink, rest, and merriment.

Gandalf smiled as he heard the unmistakable sound of running feet. He looked up to see an elf staring at him. "Excuse me, Mithrandir, but the feast is about to start." He looked around and took in the new arrivals "I see you have more guests! Well, the more, the merrier!" with that, he turned and headed back. When he reached the entrance to a large and beautiful hall, he looked back and beckoned them. Gandalf looked down at Admien. "Come along Admien. Are you well enough to stand and walk with us to the feast? You need some food." Gandalf helped him up and beckoned to Aragorn, Sairalinde, Pippin, Faythe and Malaak to follow him then he bgan to walk towards the hall.

Aragorn extended a hand to Sairalinde, helping her to her feet. beneath his harder Ranger appearance he was as good a gentleman as any noble. Pippin all but glued himself to Sairalinde's side, their 'welcome' to Lothlorien wasn't that great so he wasn't that comfortable around most elves. Sairalinde smiled and layed a comforting hand on Pippin's shoulder, beckoning the new comer's with her other hand to walk beside her as the little group followed Gandalf and Admien to the feast.

Gandalf enetered the great hall - it had a high, domed ceiling which was engraved and there was a long, carved table around which sat about a undred odd elves. He was welcomed in with many 'Welcome Mithrandir!' s and Galadriel ushered him in and she gestured to the 6 empty spaces she had obviously kept for them "Welcome Mithrandir - I hope you enjoy the feast." Gandalf waited for theothers to join him before sitting down himself. He sat between Aragorn and Pippin and he smiled warmly for the first time. He had been a bit reserved because of weariness but now there were many laughing, welcoming people with food and shelter at hand, he had begun to cheer a little. Gandalf propped his staff next to his chair and looked around at the others and said "Well Aragorn - I think you mad the right choice by staying. I think everyone needs a good night's sleep and food before we can set off to find Merry. W should leave as early as possible in the morning, so please, don't get drunk-" he glanced at Pippin next to him and smiled.

Pippin looked rather deflated after Gandalf's last comment, but his confidence boosted up again when Sairalinde poured the hobbit a WHOLE PINT of ale. Aragorn stood up to make a toast motioning everyone else to stand as well.

Gandalf turned to Pippin and gave him a one-armed hug "Don't take it seriously Peregrin. You can drink as much as you like!" he laughed softly and stood up with his goblet in his hand and waited for Aragorn to make the toast.

OoC: where'd you get that Aragorn animation? it's awesome!
Aragorn cleared his throat, "first off i'd like to thank Galadriel for inviting my comrades and me to this fine feast, we'd be poorly fed for the trip if we were not. secondly, i'd like to thank the warriors who will be joining us on our conquest for Merry, your skills will be needed before the end. and thirdly, i'd like to thank the cooks for preparing such a fine feast, for the perfected drink, the ripe fruit, and tender meat. so, with that little speach out of the way, let us make a toast to Lothlorien, for it's company, strength, and beauty!" he held his cup high, "Lothlorien, lle naa vanima!" Aragorn brought the cup to his lips and took a sip. Sairalinde raised her cup high alongside Aragorn, "Lothlorien, oio naa elealla alasse!" Pippin raised his cup but paused, not knowing practically any elven words. finally he said, "Lothlorien, i love your wine!" and nearly lost his face in his cup, draining the whole thing.

ooc: It's a site dedicated to LOTR avatars: lotr-avatars.madonna-online.ch/ there's the link! And btw, I love the way u play Pippin ^^ he's so sweet! Gandalf lifted his glass and laughed before draining his glass with everyone else. Then everyone sat down and began too eat. After a few hours, everyone had started to get quite merry, and Gandalf himself began to feel tipsey, but he never went over the top. He sat back in his chair feeling comfortably full and sat back in his chair. Then he turned to Aragorn and said "Well, I'm certainly glad we stayed here for a meal Aragorn, aren't you? *hic* excuse me. The wine is excellent is it not?" said Gandalf a little drowsily

OoC: why thank you! how do i put them in my siggy though?
Pippin ,well into his drunken self, had jumped up onto the table and began singing. his words were slurred at first, but as he got about one or two lines in he sobered up a little and the company could understand his words: "....To heal my heart and drown my woe Rain may fall and wind may blow But there still will beeeeeee Many miles to go Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain And the stream that falls From hill to plain Better than rain or rippling brook Is a mug of beer inside this Took!" with that he drained yet another glass of wine and collapsed into Sairalinde's lap and fell to another bout of laughter.
Sairalinde couldn't help herself, she HAD to join into the laughter. she'd refrained from drinking more than half of her glass of wine, having poured the rest into Pippin's second mug and settled down to lembas bread.
Aragorn smiled and politely took Gandalf's cup and set it aside, "yes, my friend, i am too!" he chuckled a little bit, "now, lay off the wine. we can't afford a wasted wizard in our midst when we go after Merry again."

(ooc: u save the pics to ur pc then go to photobucket or tinypic and upload it there. then u use the IMG code and put it in ur signature box. OMG DRUNK GANDALF!! lol. i luv aragorn's last comment btw - rofl! anyways...) Gandalf watched Pippin dance on the table and smiled broadly, then he took out his pipe and took a long draught. He sat back for a long while and nodded off in his chair. When he woke, it had only been about an hour, when he realised that most people had left and he stood up hastily and walked out of the hall to his apartment high in the trees of Lorien. When he reached the place, he sat on his bed which was by the window and smoked his pipe for a while before turning in. Next morning he woke quite early and walked out to the front to collect Shadowfax and when he was ready, waited for the others to join him in the early morning mist of Lorien - it was as beautiful and peaceful as a perfect, hazy dream; the dew sparkled fairly in the early watery-orange sunlight streaming through the canopy of the trees high above him. Elves could already be seen strolling elegantly around, looking all about them as though marvelling at nature's beauty . Gandalf stood with Shadowfax beside him without rein or saddle, holding his head proudly as his mane shone silvery white in the sunlight. Gandalf stood, as usual, with his grey hat and grey-blue robes falling from his shoulders, blending with his long, grey beard. Though his eyes shone, bright and alert from under the brim of his hat.

OoC: ^^ ok thanks! lol, thankies^^
Sairalinde struck Aragorn roughly but playfully in the ribs, "Pippin's not wakeing up, you'll have to carry him to the horses!" Aragorn blinked wearily, trying to get the sleep out of his eyes. Sairalinde sighed and leaned down, pulling Aragorn's eyelids apart, "rise and shine! get UP! go get Pippin, i'll get the horses ready." she bounded off, leaving Aragorn rubbing his bruised ribs and trying to wake a drunken Pippin.
Sairalinde called the horses, both Tari and Brego, and saddled them up. she took care to make sure that all of her stuff was at the rear of the saddle, since she'd have to carry Pippin on Tari because the mare was considerably larger than Brego. when Aragorn showed up with a giggling Pippin slung over his back like a potatoe sack, both horses were ready and waiting beside Shadowfax and Gandalf. Aragorn raised an eyebrow, "where are the other three?"
