Gandalf rode through the trees of Lorien, on his usual journey around Middle earth. Shadowfax ran faster than the wind as they approached the city of Lorien. In the trees far above him, Gandalf could see elven houses and decorations hung in the trees. It was evening, so the mystical lanterns illuminated them eerily, but beautifully. Finally, Gandalf stopped Shadowfax in the heart of Lorien where the Lady was waiting with a host of other elves. He dismounted. "Greetings Mithrandir" Galadriel said, inclining her head. "It has been a long time" "Indeed it has," Gandalf said inclining his head also. Galadriel said "You are in time for the feast, Mithrandir, we would be honered if you would join us." Gandalf nodded. "It has been a long journey - food and hospitality would be much welcomed." he said. "I will send someone to call you to the feast." said Galadriel, and she inclined her head again then walked away into the trees. There were still many elves milling around and Gandalf stuck out like a sore thumb and a horse to boot!
(im going to stop here to let someone else come in)

Aragorn raised his head when he heard Gandalf's familiar voice and smiled, it was good to see an old friend again. He stood and walked over to Gandalf, giving him a hug on impulse, "Gandalf! You're late, what kept you?" Sairalinde glanced up at Gandalf and waved, then went back to showing Pippin some basic fighting skills, skills which he was slow to learn but once he learned them he never seemed to forget.

OoC: Shuta, ppl might get confused later on about 'I' so can you use ur charector's name?
Sairalinde promptly left Pippin standing there when she heard a small plea for help. she took Admein's arm and swung it over her shoulder, hauled him to his feet, and helped him back to where the others were.

Gandalf smiled and walked over to Aragorn and Sairalinde with Shadowfax who followed without being pulled. "Hello my old friend. How are you?" Then he sat down next to Aragorn on a bench under a tree hung with lanterns. Shadowfax walked a way off to eat the grass. Gandalf waved over at Sairalinde and Pippin in return.

Aragorn shrugged, "we're at the eve of war, i'm as good as i can be at such a time. how was your travels? Shadowfax doesn't seem winded."

Gandalf laughed. "He never is! He's a stunning horse - can run for leagues without tiring. So who is this elf that's tutoring Pippin then? We've not been introduced before..." Gandalf looked inquisitively at Aragorn

Aragorn grinned, "the best specimen of the Rohirrim, isn't he?" he glanced over at Sairalinde who was patching up the wounded warrior's wounds. "My travelling companion, she'd been off tracking a band of Orcs when you had me help you find Gollum, only recently did she catch up with me again. That's when we lost Merry, I don't think he's dead, but it was quite a storm about a fortnight ago and orcs came in out of nowhere. We came here to quickly collect a small group of elves to come with us. '

Gandalf nodded slowly and smiled, then walked over to Sairalinde and said to S. and Pippin "I'm sorry to interrupt you two, but I'd like to introduce myself - I'm Gandalf, or as your folk call me, Mithrandir." Gandalf held out a hand for her to shake...

Pippin smiled at Gandalf, glad to see him again; though he didn't hug Gandalf because Pippin remembered how, out of all the hobbits, he got on Gandalf's last nerves the quickest and the most often. Sairalinde took Gandalf's hand in her habitual silence, the continued tending to Admien. "you're in the safety of Lothlorien, and i am Sairalinde Melwasul. you're safe now, for the time being. what happened to you?"

{( I'm just gonna hop in here >_>; )}
Malaak strode along the ill-paved path leading to a nearby village. Faythe followed quietly behind, padding softly on the gravel. The pale elf tapped her dark-haired companion on the shoulder and pointed towards a group of people, one on a great horse. Malaak nodded in acknowledgement (sp?). Stepping more pronouncedly, the brash elf called out, "Oy! Be you travellers or be you citizens of this village?"

Gandalf looked takenaback slightly at Saralinde's character, but then turned to Admien, who was being tended to by Sairalinde. He approached them slowly. "What is wrong? Maybe I could help..." Gandalf said behind Sairalinde.

Sairalinde muttered under her breath, more to herself than anything, "oh look, our elf troup that we came for. they'll find out soon enough what they're supposed to do." Pippin overcame his small fear for Gandalf and hid under the wizard's cloak when the two, fiercer than normal, elven women came over and spoke. Aragorn inclined his head to the elves, "we are travellers from varying lands, we came here in search for a small company to join us on our search for a...lost friend."

"Are you still looking for recruits? We could help..." Malaak said, perhaps a bit too eagerly. Faythe looked at the dirt around her feet. The two elves were wanted by the law, which is why Malaak and she were constantly in search of villages to hide in.
{( *goes to add another character on her thread* )}
