Arien embraced her softly as well, a slight chuckle escaping her lips as she heard Tamuril speak of going to the inn. "well, this is the last tavern, we can't blow it like we have all the others." It would be like old times, they did in fact meet in a tavern after all. "go on and get some food, I'll be there soon." She smiled wamrly at her before she went over and pet her friend's muzzle. "Nice to see you again as well.." She chuckled. "I'll pick my things up and meet you there soon Tamuril."

Tamuril smiled and nodded as Arien said this then she kicked Ellyndel into a gallop into the village. She stopped her horse in the stables by the Inn, paid the stable boy to tend to Ellyndel, then strode into the Inn and sat at a table for two and waited for Arien... She ordered an ale and sipped at it as she thought about the journey ahead... She hoped that they would not meet the uruks on the way again as they had on their last trip, but she was looking foward to travelling with a friend again instead of her long travels alone - this would make a nice change

Arien watched as her friend rode off and she herself started to collect everything that belonged to her. She whistled and Erendil came and stood before her as she started to saddle up her friend. She looked around once more and then leaped on top of him and squeezed his sides gently as he broke into an easy canter down the main road. She found the inn and got off her horse and he walked away. He didn't like stalls he went where he pleased but stayed close enough to Arien to be there when she called for him. Arien walked inside and saw Tamuril there and she smiled, she walked to the table and pulled out the chair, and sat herself down. "so what adventures have you conjured up for us this time?" Arien chuckled lightly at her remark.

Tamuril saw Arien enter the Inn and smiled "Well, as I do not know where this place is, I cannot tell how long it will take to get to Rivendell from here. How long do you estimate?" she sipped her drink again then placed it on the table in front of her waiting for a reply.

Arien chuckled lightly. "Well, right now we're near the bank of Sirah, which is close to Gondor. So I leave the decision to you. I do not mind where we go, I'm up for adventure." Arien ordered a drink of her own and she sipped at it. She wasn't a drinker, but this was a special ocasion. She took a small sip and looked to her friend. "It will take about a week or so get to Rivendell and there's pleanty of beautiful stops on the way as well."

a big smile spread across Tamuril's face as she heard this. "Rivendell it is then. Well, what are we waiting for? We should leave asap!"

Arien chuckled lightly. "Patience Tamuril, we shall leave soon. As for now...why would you want to miss out on a night of battle?" Her eyes shifted from Tamuril to the back tverns window. There was a line that was on the hill. They looked like small fire balls. No, not fireballs, flaming arrows that were pointed towards the town. Orcs had reached and crossed the boarder, and planning on attacking this city. "It would be like old times, what do you say?" Arien didn't sound worried at all. They were simple and there were not many, but a fire could destroy an entire village whether it was an army or one person who was doing it. "there's about 20 of them we can finish them all ourselves in but a few hours, and should we have help then it shall take less time." Arien had this smirk about her, as if she was saying that with or without Tamuril she was going to fight.

Tamuril, in her up-beat mood, looked out of the window and saw the orcs. A big smile crossed her face at the prospect of a battle. "Of course! Let us fight those vermin" he stood up and walked to the door and whistled for Ellyndel. She looked back for Arien to see if she was coming, then looked back as she heard him crashing out of the stables towards her. She smiled as he approached and she stroked his nose and waited for Arien

Arien of course got up and followed Tamuril. She would not miss this for the world. "It's good to be back!" She chuckled before she ran over to Erendil and got on drawing her own sword from it's sheath on her side as it made that so very addicting metal on metal sound. Her blood was pumping and she knew that this would be an enjoyable night. One of action and fun, at least for her anyways. She wasn't entirely sure of Tamuril.
Arien spurred her horse until there was a shed, she stopped there and got off the horse. "We have to wait until they fire their first three round of arrows before we go in for the kill, they'll burn us alive if we react too soon." She was speaking to Tamuril of course, also trying to see if she herself had any suggestions of her own.

Tamuril mounted Ellyndel as Arien mounted her own. She followed her and stopped when she spoke. "I think we should try to get round the side - we could take them by surprise..." she grinned and she could tell too that Arien was going to enjoy this... "Orc steak for supper!" she wrinkled her nose in disgust as she said it then chuckled.

Arien nodded in agreement to her plan. "It may be orc supper, but we will not be the ones eating it. The carnage we can burn and leave as a warning to any other orc that may try to cross the boarders. The battle for the ring is over but still they wreak havoc and their breeding continues." Arien held her weapon tightly at the hilt, groups of men could be seen already preparing for battle, but there were not many. "Come on!" Said Arien now as she rounded the corner and bolted into the darkness.

Tamuril followed her immediately. Her horse could feel her excitement and it transferred into him too. When she kicked him, he bolted into a gallop after Arien, but not out of control - she knew him too well for that. They rode around the orcs as silently as possible in the darkness and came to a halt once thay were on the left flank of the group, a good distance away so they did not smell them - the wind was against them, so they could smell the reek of teh orcs waft over them and Tamuril wrinkled her nose in disgust, but did not say anything. They must be silent until tehy had shot the 3 rounds...

Arien got off her horse and she sent him away from the battle. The last thing she needed right now was for him to get hurt during all the comotion that was about to take place. They both waited in silence as the first two rounds were fired. For some reason they were taking their time with the third. They seemed to be waiting to see the effect that the other shots had made on the village, the third was finally off and that was their signal to go. Arien did rush over to it and she took out the closest one to her swiftly. Without a sound he dropped to the floor, something she had learned while Tamuril had been away for all that time.

Tamuril waited and watched with Arien until finally the third shot was fired, and she kicked Ellyndel into a canter and she ran along the back lines, cutting them all down as she passed with her sword held firmly in one hand. The black blood splattered up her arm and along Ellyndel's flank. She turned him around at the end, but now the orcs had realised (finally) that they were under attack. They ran foolishly around in a craze until they managed to sort themselves out and grab for their weapons, but by that time Tamuril was racing through them like flies and they scattered and fell around her. Her caught sight of Arien in the crowd as she passed and she smiled at her as she cut down a few more orcs.

Arien was having the time of her life. Going on foot was so much more thrilling than being on a horse, but she cut them down and she herself was counting. Her goal was to surpass Legolas' goal of over 3,000 when he was part of the fellowship. Arien herself already on 789, she was counting and smiling at the same time. She was quick and used her move only once seeing as one almost had her. The light of the Valor. It was swift, deadly, had she the energy to do it again she would have, but these orcs were still scattering trying to find the attackers. There were only two and because of that they were hard to find in the crowd.
